The fifth post in our #CreativeReimagined series showcases members of our Creative Team as avatars in the metaverse. The metaverse is providing exciting opportunities to blend the virtual world with the physical — revolutionizing the way we work, shop, play, and socialize.
“The word ‘metaverse’ is a portmanteau of the prefix ‘meta’ (meaning beyond) and ‘universe’. The phrase is typically used to describe the concept of a future version of the internet, a virtual universe made up of 3D spaces that people will interact with,” explains Creative Director Sean Flanagan.
“The first entry point for many, is to create a virtual version of themselves. The Creative Team at Brian utilized the popular Ready Player Me platform to create avatars of ourselves. Or, as Ready Player Me describes them, our own ‘passport to the metaverse.’ Companies like Ready Player Me have already monetized this by offering limited NFTs for your avatar. There’s no doubt that advertising and brand experiences will have to adapt, but the concept of the metaverse and its many possibilities can be hard to grasp. Are you ready? Let’s explore it together!”
